Boundaries: Set Them. Honor Your Self.
In the past few months, I’ve let total strangers get very close to my heart and welcomed them deeply into my world (emotionally/ energetically) - and simultaneously ended long-term relationships with people who don't share a mutual intention when it comes to friendship.
A relationship is an exchange of energy- it connects you to the person even when you're not with them physically. You take this bond with you everywhere you go- like an invisible cord, and it influences every thought that makes up the fabric of your Being. What kind of energy is being transmitted from your relationships to you?
Use your time and energy wisely, and give it to those who lift you up, respect you, and love you. To people who celebrate your achievements. To the people who understand that a healthy relationship is a dance that requires two whole beings.
Ancient towns like Siena are built within the confines of a wall- and it is up to you to build that wall for yourself when inviting people into your world.
Setting boundaries isn't about excluding anyone nor wishing them harm, it's about protecting your path and ensuring you give yourself the space it needs to flourish in life. Cut the cord between people who don't value you. Stop chasing relationships with people who aren't sending loving cosmic rocket fuel vibrations to you. Honor the fact that you are constantly growing and changing and that surrounding yourself with people who match your frequency will enable you to continue growing and thriving. Don't be afraid of change.
